How would you announce?

My hubby and I are currently ttc our first bean! And may have succeeded after a hard 1 1/2 years. I’m 6 days late had spotting yesterday and had blood work done today hopefully weld will know by tomorrow! Anyway! We currently live with my parents until we can buy our own home! But his parents live in Arizona and we live in Utah. We don’t see them too often but his dad is coming up next month his mom unfortunately works that weekend. How would you announce to someone out of state. We plan on telling his dad while he’s up here and giving him something to take back to my MIL as a late birthday present since her birthday was in February. How would you do it? Ideas?

Update they said it came back negative and that I had a chemical or a miscarriage but I haven’t bleed or had any bad cramps.
