Bump or bloat?

10w 4d! ☺️ first bubba! 
How can you tell if you are getting a baby bump or if you are bloated? 
What does my belly look like to all you? 🥰

This is a pretty good illustration of where your uterus is at different points throughout your pregnancy. While there are multiple factors that contribute to how pregnant different people look at different points, actual uterus height is pretty consistent and a large variation from this would be very surprising.

I asked my OB this the other day actually she said it could be a little bit of both at this point. Since the uterus is slowly starting to pop out from behind the pelvic bone theres a chance it can be baby, but more than likely just a mix of a lot of bloat and then a tiny bit of baby! I'm due also 10 +4

A bump. Some people like to say bloat but everyone is different im 8 weeks and 5 days and people were saying bloat... But there is a roundness and firmness that is something i can tell is different from bloat. Especially because i used to bloat all the time there is a difference to this🤷

Your uterus is still very down low at this point, and it would be extremely unlikely for it to be dramatically higher than expected. I’m 12 weeks with my 3rd and I can still feel my uterus down where it should be, but because of bloat I look 6 months pregnant! I still embrace it as showing because it’s 100% caused by pregnancy, but if you want to get technical it’s definitely not your uterus that high up yet.
