Today I got a pain in my belly just below my belly button. It lasted for maybe 5 minutes and felt like a bad muscle cramp, almost like my muscles were tearing! The pain stopped when I drank some water. I've since been reading up on Braxton Hicks contractions but from what I've read they're not commonly associated with pain. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced a similar sensation? Kind of wondering, if they're not meant to be painful, why they're often confused with real contractions..
