When did you start getting checked to see how dilated you are?

I’m 36 weeks and I’ve been having horrible Braxton-Hicks that just keep getting stronger they aren’t consistent yet but they’re definitely more painful, and I’m not sure if my doctor will check me at my appointment Friday.

I was 36 weeks but they gave me the option to get checked then or wait until 38 weeks.

Mine started at 35 weeks n then didn’t the next week... n I asked him to check at my appt yesterday - takes two second, so ask!

Because of my history she started checking me at 35 weeks. She is checking me again at 37 and we will be scheduling my induction.

I’ve found that I have to ask my dr some things. It kinda irritates me that she doesn’t just tell me stuff but if I ask she always tells me so I know she’s doing the work she isn’t communicating everything. I think she thinks i don’t  care
