This is going to seem very odd but I think there’s an issue with my dog. He constantly has a corn chip smell (yes I know that sounds weird but I’ve googled it and other people have said their dogs had that same smell) and also has a lot of yellow discharge. Yes I know for male dogs discharge is normal but it’s so much it’s where anything he lays on that is clothe material gets covered in yellow stains. He can’t keep a pet bed very long because even with regular washing it has this smell and stains. We took him to the vet and she said she had never heard of the way I described his smell and that the discharge is normal. I still feel like this isn’t true because I’ve never been to someone else’s house who has a dog and it smelled this way or had yellow stains everywhere?? Also I don’t smell this from my other dog and don’t notice the stains where he lays. I have a baby that will be crawling soon and really don’t feel comfortable knowing she’s crawling around where his discharge is :/We have tried changing his diet to grain free and even anything that promotes the growth of yeast free and still no different. It also doesn’t matter if we bathe him more often or less often. Have tried antifungal sprays and wipes. He is a very sweet husky/Dalmatian mix and this has been an issue for years. What can I do or am I crazy and this is normal??
