Is it weird to stay friends with your child’s ex?

This couple was together for almost 4 years and apparently the girl cheated on him so they are no longer together. It has been a while since but his mom has remained on her socials. His mom commented on her instagram post saying how pretty she looked etc. Do you think this is weird? How would you feel if your parent did this?

I really don’t care. I am too old to care about that petty bullshit. If my mama wants to be friends with my ex, have at it. If my boyfriends mama wants to be friends with his ex, that’s her life, not mine. Who the hell am i to tell anyone who can be friends with who? I don’t control other people and to try will only cause suffering and drama. That woman is more than allowed to be friends with whoever she pleases.

My ex’s whole family still follows me on IG  and is friends with me on Facebook. I find it a little weird when they like photos of me or my daughter but hey, they’re sweet anyway.
My ex and I broke up almost two years ago, we talk occasionally, not on bad terms or anything, and he’s got a new girlfriend. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Lmao. It's like I could have written this! Seriously, word for word. Except it wAs Facebook, the girl's wedding photo to the guy she cheated on my BIL with; my MIL commented saying what a beautiful bride she was. She never made a comment about my husband and my wedding... except for how upset she was about certain things. 😂😂 But hey, if my BIL doesn't care then why should anyone else.
