When can they safely take baby?

I was put into the hospital yesterday because of contractions, I am terrified of losing this baby I am 19 weeks and so scared of losing this baby

I believe the magic number is week 24 but I’m not 100% sure on that. I’ll say a prayer for you. Just try your best not to stress which I know is easier said than done. Stay off your feet or if they have you on bedrest follow it.

I just googled this. According to studies between 2003 and 2005, 20 to 35 percent of babies born at 24 weeks of gestation survive, while 50 to 70 percent of babies born at 25 weeks, and more than 90 percent born at 26 to 27 weeks, survive.

The date of resuscitation is different for each hospital, my hospital will go down to 22 weeks but a common cut off is 24 weeks.

The golden number for survival rate is 26 week and beyond. At that point, baby has around 75% or greater chance of surviving. It's possible they may survive after 21 weeks too. Just more like 50/50 odds.
