So is this okay? We’re starting to foster children ages birth- age 5. And we have no baby/ toddler/ preschool stuff. Can I throw a foster care shower?? Is that weird? Would people actually go to something like that??

Foster parents get financial support for children’s active needs, clothing, food, etc. I think she wants to get stationary stuff that she’d have for kids as they cycle through that stay in the house.

That’s something I would rather go to than a baby shower for a mother that had a baby shower two years prior🤷🏼‍♀️

Yeah I’d def go to that! But like another person said, don’t you get paid for stuff like that to help support them? Also I think what you’re doing is wonderful. Every child deserves a great family. They didn’t ask for any of that

Dont you get money to provide and look after them with expenses paid? I know they do this in the UK.
