I’ve had both my gender ultrasounds some at 13 weeks exactly and both were correct. First was a boy. Second was a girl. I think with a good machine and a good tech it’s definitely more reliable than some cheap place

At 13 weeks their little bits look almost identical. Yes its true they start to differ around week 13 but not enough to really distinguishe which is which. Wait a bit longer or do the blood test.

If you do a blood test then yes, on ultrasound I think most doctors prefer to wait a little longer.

The place I go to for ultrasounds says 13 weeks is when they can see but it’s best to wait until 15 weeks.
