Do you let your baby “cry it out”

She has phases where she has difficulties sleeping. Sometimes she sleeps amazing as soon as I lay her in her crib, and sometimes she needs me to hold her and rock her and cries if I lay her down. She always eventually gets past it after a week or 2 and goes back to sleeping on her own again. I don't want to do the cry out method because I want her to know I will be there. Even if it's a bit tougher.

Not really, I let her cry, but no more than 5-10 minutes.

I’ve tried but I can’t. I would just gently grab him and rock him and he would fall back to sleep. I cherished those extra cuddles because one day he won’t need me! He now sleeps 12 hours a night all by himself. ♥️

A baby (0-12 months), absolutely not. A toddler (13-36 months), yes.

Yes, but it's not like I lock the door on him and hope for the best. I only do CIO if he's fed, burped, has a clean diaper and I know he needs to sleep. We try to teach healthy sleeping habits right from the start with our kids. So they don't really have to CIO very often at all ☺️

I do a light version of CIO. 
Let him cry for 2 minutes 
Then 3
Then 5
Then 7
Then 10
And no longer then 12
