44 in May how old is too old?

Going to be 44 in May and still not pregnant 🤔😣😤😭. Have not found a fertility doctor that I can go to. 
How old is too old to have another baby?  I have an 18 year old son and want another blessing. And can the baby still be healthy?

No it’s not too old as long as you aren’t in full Menopause yet. Have fertility drs said it’s too late? That’s so not cool.

My fertility doctor and ob said 43 is the “cut off” for using own eggs. Since we are paying out of pocket I guess they don’t want me to “waste” my money. I’m 42 and doing ivf with my eggs then off to donor.

It CAN happen, but the odds realistically are 1 percent and fertility intervention does not work except with donor eggs for the most part. That being said, as long as your ovulate normally there is a chance monthly! I feel your pain: just turned 44 and I don’t want to give up yet!!

Basically it has happened naturally into the 50s, but IVF does not work: oldest woman ever verified to have IVF work with her own vs. donor eggs was only 46. Anyone else is using donor eggs (or frozen embryos) and not admitting it.
