Went in for my weekly exam and my cervical length was above 4 cm. When the dr applied pressure my cervix started funneling to 3.5 cm. He claimed it was “normal” to have some funneling at 24 weeks and didn’t suggest bedrest or anything. Has anyone experienced something similar and made it at least to 30+ weeks?

My previous pregnancy I got a cerclage placed at 13 weeks due to IC.. had funneling and short cervix. This time I’ve made it this far without showing any sign of a short cervix and since 3.5 cm is still considered within normal range. they didn’t give me a cerclage this time.
