Bilingual babies
I want to teach my child Spanish and of course English. I took Spanish in high school and college and understand enough to conjugate words and how to pronounce them ( I was told I sound great by my professors) but I never got past the basics for real, never intermediate. Research has shown that the best time to learn a language is before 5 or 6 and to begin by 3 or 4. How could I teach my child Spanish when I'm not exactly fluent myself? Is my becoming fluent necessary? Are any of you bilingual parents, any advice?
