Hello mamas.

This is my 3rd pregnancy, for my first and second pregnancy I never had any glucose issues. For both I took the 1 hour glucose test and everything was fine and normal. My youngest will be 5 in May and I’m currently almost 9 weeks pregnant. My doctor had me do my glucose early this time, I’m assuming because I am overweight and maybe she was concerned. I work overnights 6pm until 7am. I had subway for dinner Tuesday at 5pm then went into work. Got done work at 7am Wednesday and went to sleep. I woke up around 330 so I could go get my

Glucose done and my bloodwork.

The doctor just called letting me know that my glucose screening came back abnormal and she would like me to go get a 3 hour glucose done.

Could it be possible that it was abnormal because I hadn’t had anything to eat for almost 24 hours when they had done my bloodwork?

Does anyone think this is something I should be worried about ? I’m really nervous now and not sure what to think.
