Gender reveal based on sneak peak?

Question

Going to be doing sneak peak at 11 weeks. Plan to basically sterilize the entire area and my hand etc before doing the test. I've seen some inaccurate results especially boy. Should we do our reveal based on sneak peak? Ild hate to have this whole get together and spend money on confetti cannons only to have the wrong gender! This baby was looong awaited for I want everything perfect :/

I’m not the gender reveal type but I did sneak peak and it said girl. I’m still not convinced until my genetics test comes back. On the flip side, a girl I know had a gender reveal based on an ultrasound saying she’s having a girl. Long story short she’s having a boy and she was pisssseedddd!!!

No!! I would not do it based off sneak peak! There are ALOT of woman who get the wrong results no matter how careful they were. I watched a YouTube of a girl who did the same thing you will be doing and she still got it contaminated and was having a girl not a boy. Found out after the baby shower and had to return all her boy stuff. I would wait for that ultrasound or the genetic testing if it’s offered.
