40 weeks pregnant cervix is high and closed ??? 😒😒😨🤦🏽‍♀️

Só Im first time mum, my midwife was unable to do sweep as she said my cervix is high and closed ? Sooo when I’m having this baby ? Does anyone else have any similar stories? 
And went in labour naturally ?
As I’ve had book in my induction now, which I’m hoping to avoid if I can. 😨😨

Aww mama don’t worry! Your cervix and body can literally open in just a few hours once your body is ready. Don’t get scared and just trust your body💜 No matter what, your baby will be here soon. I hope everything goes smoothly for you!

Your body will do what it needs to do on its own you can try walking, bouncing on a birthing ball, sex and so forth but really your body and baby have to be ready. Things can change before induction or it might not. I tried all you can think of and nothing worked for me unfortunately and I was induced at 41 weeks. Hopefully it goes well and you can go into labor naturally

I carry my babies really high and my cervix is high and always shut. Can you do primrose oil ? And then I have heard raspberry leaf tea helps. I tried a more “natural” induction with a Foley bulb. It had me dilated to a 3 after bounding on a ball with it and walking. It did not trigger labor but we were able to do a sweep. I went home and had sex and went into labor the next day!! Good luck!
