Relationship issues

So my fiancée and I were ordering takeout yesterday and an old guy friend came inside to pick up his food.i awkwardly said hi and hugged him and went back to being next to my fiancée and looking at the menu. After the friend left my fiancée was mad that I didn’t introduce him to the guy friend. I didn’t think nothing of it but my fiancée saw it as a sign of disrespect and had made a big deal out of it. What are y’alls opinions? I’ve reflected on what i did and know that something that wouldn’t bother me doesn’t mean it will not bother my partner so I know from now on to always introduce my fiancée to anyone I say hi to in public or anyone I’m with in that case so they don’t feel disrespected.
