How many women GBS+ have had or will have their cervical membranes sweep?

I am curious as I saw a post or 2 on here where ladies have drs with different views and I was just curious.

My dr will do the sweep regardless of +\- result since she is not rupturing your water there is no additional increase risk of infection AND antibiotics are given as soon as you are checked into labor and delivery .

My last pregnancy I was GBS+ and my OB swept me. Put me into labor 2 days later and had antibiotics during delivery everything was fine!

I got a sweep yesterday and was cautioned by the doc before that not all providers will do a sweep if mom is GBS positive. The risks aren’t actually proven according to the doc and since they’ll be giving me antibiotics I felt that the small risk was worth it.
