How long does your baby eat?

My 1 week old will nurse anywhere from 10-25 minutes and then pull off and not want anymore. Or she will relatch and just keep the boob in her mouths. She eats every 2-3 hours. Does 10 minutes at the boob sound okay???

My baby eats about that much and the docto has never said anything about it.

If she is having a lot of wet diapers and pulls off her self then yes that sounds right. Some babies nurse efficiently. Mine does not and likes to nap the whole time.

Wow this sounds like a dream. My baby was a super lazy eater and would munch for over an hour 🙄

That’s the opposite of mine! She’s a sleepy eater and will spend anywhere from 30-60 minutes eating.
As long as your little one is gaining weight and has enough wet diapers, they should be ok!
