We made dinner plans and he just didn’t show

So a pretty good friend of mine and I have been spending a bit more time hanging out and we’ve been for walks and coffees and we msg each other a lot. He comes round for dinner as a friend and cooks sometimes and talk a lot and get along GREAT.

So yesterday we had a lovely 4 hours going for a walk and we had brunch then he had to go see a client, (a man he talked to on the phone while I was with him and he told me about the phone call.)

So he walked me to my car and opened my door for me, and we were saying goodbye, then he said ‘get some meat out of your freezer I’ll come round and do a BBQ’ (I have a lot of meat that needs eating so no worries there) and I said ok that sounds great, see you later! (And was like ok cool!) And we were both grinning and we’d hugged each other very tightly a couple of times by now and things were looking very rosy...

And I went home and did some work and got some meat out and got stuff for a salad and I was waiting... and waiting .... from 4pm till 10pm I waited (I was working) but no show from my friend and no messages at all just nothing.

No-one has ever made plans with me then just not showed up and not messaged me...

WTF...???!!!
