I had thought I started my period. It was like my normal bleeding but it only lasted one day and my period is normally around 3 days long. I went in for my 12 week appointment and there was no heartbeat. The baby measured 12 weeks so the baby had passed that day or the day before my doctor said. I opted to wait for my body to its thing on its own. And in two weeks it finally did. My first blood work said my hcg levels were 11.6. I’m still waiting for my last blood test results and my ultrasound results to make sure I passed everything. It’s been almost 4 weeks now. Has anyone else when they got their first “period” after loss have a shortened period?
