If you sleep completely through the night without waking up until morning, how????? I always wake up 3 or 4 times a night.

Try sleeping in a colder environment (window open, less blankets, less clothes), drink less water and don’t eat spicy or other stomach irritating foods, practice meditation, and try melatonin and getting your body in to a schedule. 
Idk if u do any of this but these are reasons your body could be waking up (too hot, need to pee, heartburn, stress) 
You can also try aroma therapy with essential oils and wearing a sleeping mask to keep things darker. Maybe even going for a run before bed

I have realized that when I don’t do much throughout the day and am not active I tend to have trouble falling and staying asleep. Then when I exercise and do a lot of things that burn a lot of energy I can fall asleep quickly and stay asleep throughout the night

Well I naturally stay up late. I’ve been staying up late since I was in the womb. And as a kid when it was dark and time to sleep I would just lay there for who knows how long until it got later in the night. So maybe because I don’t usually go to bed early, I sleep through the night very well.
