Do you think that it's rude to have a diaper raffle at a baby shower?

Just asking because people already buy u a gift then buy a pack of diapers... I'm having a drop in shower too so I'm not sure how id have a raffle because people will be coming and going...  Any other ideas?

no i think its fine especially since you’re not demanding everyone bring diapers. if they want to they will and join a fun little raffle, if not then they don’t 🤷🏻‍♀️🤗

You don’t have to bring a pack of diapers for the raffle? We just did a diaper raffle for my sisters shower that was optional. But if you brought diapers you were in the drawing to win a really good prize. She was perfectly fine with people not joining in on the diaper raffle and of course appreciated the people that did.

Diaper raffles are completely optional. It's not like your requiring everyone to bring a gift and diapers. It's if you want a chance to win a prize, you bring diapers too. Plus you'll need plenty of diapers! If you want to do it, then do it. You can always enter everyone who brings diapers & if the winner isn't there when you pick one, just call them & tell them they won (unless people are traveling).

I did it and got tons of diapers and wipes.  It’s not rude. It’s a party to help you out getting stuff for baby lol. If someone thinks it’s rude they don’t have to participate!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a baby shower without one, at least in the last few years. They’re sooo popular now.

No it’s not rude, people don’t have to bring diapers or join the raffle. It’s optional. If you do bring a pack of diapers though you can win a great prize. So it’s up to the guests whether they want to participate or not
