In law drama

My husband and I both don’t want to tell the in laws (his parents) the date of our scheduled c section. They have already been told they can’t come anyway (I had life threatening complications after my first c section that resulted in a second surgery a week later, a wound vac machine and home health for a month) so I’m a wreck as it is. They know that it’s supposed to be scheduled I’ve just told them we haven’t done it yet (it’s for May 8) considering just lying and telling them we went into labor naturally on May 8 and pretend it was for a later date... or how else can I get out of telling them???? I don’t want to deal with the overbearing texts or risk them showing up 😫😫😫😫😫😫😫
