Sick please help

On monday my throat stared to hurt and my dad said just keep drinking water all day so i did but it’s Friday and it has only gotten worse now it hurts my head and it makes me cough alot and it hurts to cough it also hurts to swallow. It is such bad pain i can barly talk and i asked my mom to take me to the doctor and she said im fine it’s allergies but i dont think it it i cried a few times it hurt so bad. Please help
