I think it would depends on the circumstances like what kind of person she is and what your husbands/your relationship with her is like, obviously those details would be a huge factor but I feel like the kids feelings in the matter should be taken into consideration too, if she has nowhere else to go how upset is the child going to be if you turn her away? She is his/her mother and it could affect them.

Yes because I’m not petty and I want her to succeed in life. If living here for a couple months will get her back on her feet to give herself and the kids a better life, then so be it. I trust my husband.
