BFP after 2 years and 1 IUI!!!
I am still in shock! I never thought the first IUI would work. We have been TTC for 2 years. I had surgery to have a fibroid removed and hubby had issues with count and motility. Here’s what we did:
-He took FertileAid for men for 3 months. His sperm count tripled!! Motility unfortunately did not improve but since he had so much more total it still worked in our favor. I HIGHLY recommend this ladies!
-Smoothies with maca. We’d done that for about a year so I can’t really say if that made much of a difference.
-I exercised regularly. I drank occasionally but do not smoke.
-I went on Femara (Letrozole). I tried a cycle on that and nothing happened. The next cycle we did Femara plus IUI and it worked!
His total pre-wash was 105M and post wash 8.6M (due to poor motility) but it worked!! I seriously couldn’t believe it.
Symptoms
-All symptoms were EXACTLY like how I feel on my period! the week before i tested positive I had consistent cramps which is why I was 100% convinced AF was due any minute. I also had to go to the bathroom more like when AF comes (sorry tmi!). My breasts were super sore, but I get that every single month before AF so that was nothing out of the ordinary either.
-100% convinced AF was coming I waited until 12dpo to test. I was supposed to go on a wine tour so figured I better be sure 🤔 I used a cheapy from Amazon

I’ve never seen a line in my life so I thought I could see a hint of something. That afternoon I bought a first response, held my pee for 4 hours and it looked like this:

Took another digital at home and it said “Pregnant”. I could t wait to tell hubby that night. He’s a big video game fan

I had bought this onesie 2 YEARS AGO!! I pulled it out from under my nightstand and the package was covered in dust 😭 I’m so happy I finally got to dust it off.
Now I’ve had bloodwork and HCG is at 2488. I have my first scan May 13!! ❤️
Please don’t lose hope ladies. I know how hard it is to see negatives over and over again. To see your friends and everyone else around you get pregnant (some twice) in the time that you’ve been TTC. I hope this somehow helps someone out there. Best of luck to you all, I seriously could not have gotten though this journey without this community! Sending lots of baby dust ✨👶🏻✨
