Its been 4 weeks since I gave vaginal birth. Is it okay for me to take a bath now? How long do I need to wait?

I took multiple baths at the hospital. They encouraged it for the pain and swelling

I believe you're supposed to wait 6 weeks before taking baths, but you can shower in the meantime.

They told me at the hospital to to sitz baths and take regular baths with Epsom salt,so i dont see why you wouldnt be able to.
Just dont use scented soap ect.

I heard sitz baths help post partum🤷🏼‍♀️ i know I’ll end up taking baths the next day because I’ve taken one every day this entire pregnancy to calm my hips lol
