When did the burning go away?

i had a second degree tear & every time i pee , it burns soo damn bad 😭 When did y'all heal up? Everytime i need to pee , i wanna cry lol.

Use the peri bottle AS YOU PEE rather than just to rinse off after, it may help. I had a 4th degree tear but they did an awesome job with my stitches so they’re all internal so I didn’t sting so much with peeing. But I’ve heard spraying the water while peeing or peeing into the bath or a sitz bath bucket helps

Um I had 3rd degree tears and lots of stitches with an episiotomy too. I don't remember exactly when the burning went away but between the bottle, the spray,  and the ice packs those all helped me feel better. I know I healed pretty quickly, at least some of the stitches did because like 6 days pp a couple dissolved out of me soooo, and then at my 7 week pp appointment the doctor said you couldn't even tell I had any tears or had stitches. Though I dont know what my delivery doctor did, but everytime me and my husband have sex, its tight again like when we first started having sex and I was virgin.

I had a second degree tear too, the warm water while peeing and pain meds helped a bit. The burning stopped for me around the end of the 2nd week, but I couldn’t tell if it was from the stitches or the catheter. 😖

Do you have a peri bottle or can you make one maybe? That way you can put water on when you pee. It helps a bit. Alternatively maybe pee in the shower? Water really, really, really helps.

I don’t know how much i tore because they had to cut me, but I was told I could use a peri-bottle. I bought cooling pads too to rub on my stitches when they got sore. I thankfully never got the burning sensation when I peed, I leaned forward a bit while I went.

Take ural, it’s an additive to water that balances the ph level in your pee so it doesn’t burn.
