Should I wait to have my first ultrasound at around 7-8 weeks? Is there any reason to have it earlier if in most cases you can’t see anything ?

The longer you wait, the more you will see and find out. Some women go early and don’t see the baby and get freaked out when they should have just waited.

My first was at 5 weeks because I was spotting wanted to rule out etopic thought I was 6 weeks I just ovulated later this week got to see my peanut and saw a strong heartbeat but it’s better to wait later so it won’t freak you out

12 weeks is standard where I come from. And they measure NT at the same appontment.

So many 6wk ladies posting that they didn’t see anything. I went today 8wks6dys and I was able to see the baby, yolk sac, heart beat - so much more.

I got my first US @ 9 weeks, you don’t see much just this, a little peanut lol :) I’d wait awhile longer, I know it’s excited but seeing arms and legs is more exciting
