I have been planning on surprising my MIL for mothers day since November. Our plan is to just show up at her house (she lives in OK we live in CA). I already bought our plane tickets. However my MIL is the type of person that likes to be prepared and hates surprises. We are a week and a half from our trip and I am undecided if we should let her know before we get there or we should just keep it as a surprise. I talk to her every day and keeping this a secret is so hard! I try and keep our conversations about my son (her grandbaby) but yesterday she asked me what we are going to do for my hubby's birthday (which is on mother's day) and I said "I don't know, maybe surprise him at work." She then said, "ughhh... I hate surprises!" Idk what to do! HELP!
