How did you drop the last nap?

If your toddlers aren’t napping how did they drop the nap and what is their sleep schedule now?

Oh no. We’re approaching the no nap stage? Not prepared lol. My girl still takes one nap a day and it’s usually at least 2 hours long lol

My oldest napped until 3.5. My toddler is still napping. I’ll keep having her nap until she starts weaning herself and her behavior isn’t affected by not napping.

A few weeks ago he just stopped. It’s actually a little annoying for me lol. We’re a family of night owls. Shower around 10p. Usually to bed at 11p or later. Then I’m up and working by 9a and our son sleeps until 11 or 12. Now without the nap he’s whining and miserable by 9. Dozes off by 10. Wakes up for like an hour. Then is back asleep and up at 9am with me.

My daughter was never an "on the go" napper. So we just stopped putting her down for her nap and if she fell asleep somewhere else we let her. For about 2 months she'd have the odd couch nap or car nap. After that she stopped completely. She now sleeps 6:15/6:30pm to 7:00/7:15am. She does have a toddler clock we use, it's set to 7:00am but lots of mornings she'll sleep through it. She dropped her nap completely at 22months.

My girl rarely naps, and when she does it just delays bedtime by an hour or two. Without naps she sleeps 7/730-630. Sometimes if it was a big day she’s fall asleep earlier. I’d prefer an early bedtime so I’m fine with it!
