So my fiancé and I don’t want kids. I am legitimately phobic of being pregnant and having children. He is 100% okay with me getting my tubes tied, or even a partial hysterectomy (there’s a history of uterine issues in my family), but we both know I’ll never find a doctor on my own. He has suggested coming with to convince them. Would that even do anything? If not he’s okay with getting a vasectomy, but I think it would be better if it was me.

Oh and if you’re going to comment about how it’s a bad idea to get my tubes tied or how I’ll regret it, don’t bother.

Explanation on the uterine issue: it starts with really bad lower back cramps (like you can’t move without extreme pain), then cysts all over the uterus constantly. The age at which it shows up has been getting younger and younger. I already have the severe cramps.
