Baby Name Picked Put?

Question

My husband is very adamant about waiting until the baby comes to name him (recently "found out" it's a boy but will confirm at 16 weeks). Me? All I can do is make lists of baby names, and I have a few I really like. I would like to pick one out at least a little before the baby comes, but again, he can't be persuaded. Even when we discuss names, we can't really agree on one anyways, not that he'll agree to one period. 
When did y'all decide on baby names, and was it easy for you and your partner to agree on a name (if you have one picked out already).

My husband and I had picked a name for my firstborn, but when he was born it didn't fit. We actually went with a name we had decided against earlier in the pregnancy. I would say pick out names, but be open minded to change once baby is born.

We have a girl name and a boy name picked out and we aren’t finding out the sex until the baby is born. ☺️

My husband and I have a shared note that we add baby names to as we think of them, that the other person can delete, but we’ve had 3 boy and 3 girl names (that have stayed on the list) picked out for about a year.

With our first two, we were trying out different names from about ten weeks. With our third (current), we haven’t even spoken about names. I’m 12 weeks along. 
We have different tastes, so it’s kind of difficult, but we enjoy the process, laugh at each other and have fun.

My hubby has had the names picked out since before he met me and I’ve told him since I found out about them that I’m not a fan of the names. His girl name is after his grandmother and his boy name is after him (and he is named after his father). I believe that names have karma, and there are reasons why I don’t want to use either of those names. As well, I believe I won’t know the name until I meet my baby. He doesn’t feel the same, so now we have a running list of names and we’ve decided to narrow it down to three that we like before the birth.

With my first we could only agree on one name and she was named at birth with my second we had ideas and couldnt agree, so when she was born i asked my hubby what was her name? He said 'you  can choose ill be happy with anything, i secretly  knew for ages that her name would be alexa and thats what i named her, no idea what will happen with this one lol

We went to the hospital with a top 3 then picked what fit him best. Honestly it didn't end up being our #1 so I'm really glad we waited. At 18 months I still look at him and go yep you aren't a ___, good thing we waited!

We had it narrowed down to 1 name per gender before our anatomy scan for my first. We’re almost 12 weeks now and know the names already to.

We decided to name our first after my fil and my dh told him that the day we found out we were having a boy.  My son was born and the name just doesn’t fit him and I’m wishing we didn’t announce the name right away because my fil was so happy we picked his name. 
My next baby I am not settling on a name until he/she is born

With my first 3 children we went back and forth with names, but had one picked by the time the baby was born. With our 4th child, our 3rd boy, he wasn't named until he was placed on my chest directly after birth. Unbeknownst to me, my husband was looking up baby names while i was in labor. He picked a first name he thought i might be okay with and added the name my daughter and i really liked for a middle name. At that point I was just happy it was a name i didn't hate. We haven't even started discussing names for this baby yet. I had 2 missed miscarriages last year and it's hard to be optimistic that we'll make it far enough to need a name picked out. I'm 10 weeks today, we'll probably start picking a name after we do the panorama testing and find out the gender in a few weeks. I want to have a name picked so we can personalize baby items.
