Should I be worried?

So I had an elective 3D 4D ultrasound done today and in the pictures it looks like the cord is wrapped around babies neck. Is this normal and okay or should I be worried? The ultrasound tech can't diagnose anything and it wasn't at my doctors office because I paid out of pocket for it. I don't know what to think

Google "Nuchal Cord". It's very common. Lots of babies have the cord wrapped around their necks in utero and also during birth. Any first son was born with his cord doubled around his neck and he just turned 6 years old last week and is perfectly healthy. It's alot more common that people realize. They do lots of flips and twists in there and it's bound to happen.🤷
You can bring it up to your doc and they can tell you about it as well, if that helps ease your mind. 😊

It looks like the cord is just sitting in front of baby’s neck to me. Are you still feeling plenty of movement? I’m sure baby still flips and flops around so much right now that the cord moves around, too. I’m sure everything is fine but you’ve got that mother’s intuition so give your OB a call if you’re worried!

Just keep doing your kick counts. I know it can be normal with how much they move around for the cord to wrap and unwrap a lot. So just keep an eye on the movements to make sure they are still going strong and everything should be fine
