What age did you learn what discharge is?

I'm shocked that so many women don't know what discharge is and we have to explain it to them 😱 Not younger girls actual women in their 20's. I just assumed everyone old enough to have a period knew what it was

I knew what it was from about 11 because that’s when my period started, but I must admit I didn’t link up the idea, or take any notice of the fact that there were different types of discharge and they were linked to different times of the month and stages of ovulation until I started ttc at 27

i didn’t know what discharge was until i was a teenager. 
my school never educated us about it and i learned online/from friends. 
we also never learned about masturbation, vaginal infections, etc. 
and they said abstinence is best until married! 
sex ed is trash. i live in california where most people are more liberal/not super religious but even we have shit sex ed.

Probably like 21 during my 2nd year of ttc
I thought any sort of discharge meant something was wrong but in my defense my mom never told me what anything was. She gave me a book about puberty and periods and that was that so when i got my first period at 10 I thought I was dying

I mean, when I started having discharge in my early teens, I had no idea what it was.  But I was able to put two and two together with its consistency, the time it happened during the month and since I started going to the gynecologist at an earlier age than most due to having ovarian cysts and knew from them that I was healthy, I was never really concerned about it.
