I started cilest (a combination pill) on the second day of my period which was on a Wednesday and then I had unprotected sex on the Sunday thinking that it would protect me straight away - I’ve read that I will have been protected straight away since I took it when I was bleeding but I’m still worried that I won’t be! Does anybody know if you’re protected if you start a combined pill on your period??
