I know this isn’t really a story to tell on <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android.eve">Eve</a> but i didn’t know who to tell it too. but it means a lot to me.

when i was 9 my mum and dad split up and i found it really hard as i was what you would call a ‘daddy’s girl’ i loved my dad and looked up to him greatly. once they had broken up and divorced i was heartbroken. my dad later on went to get a new wife but she didn’t like me and would do anything to keep me away from my dad, eventually my dad and myself had an argument when i was 11 and i’ve ended up not seeing him since, he has moved on and had a new family. he used to see my little sister still every weekend up until a few months ago when he suddenly stopped out of no where and blocked her number.

he was so abusive to my mum and had hurt her on multiple occasions but he has hurt her mentally so badly. i hate him for it.

but now my mum is engaged and i love him to bits we all live together and we have been on many holidays and fun days out and it’s so much better and my mum is so much happier.

today i’ve officially got rid of my last name ‘<a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android.eve">eve</a>’ which was my dads last name and changed it to ‘parkinson-salt’ which is my grandma and grandads last name and then my (future) step dads and my mums future name and i am so happy to have gotten rid of his name. i can tell now everything is going to be great with my proper family ❤️
