Potential trigger
On Friday I started throwing up. Mind you, I’ve never thrown up during pregnancy. So it was odd. I’m 12 weeks pregnant. So I stayed home and rested.
Around 8 PM after I threw up I had thought that I had peed a bit. When I checked I was bleeding. So I got in the shower to clean up; just assuming I was miscarrying. My husband was getting his father over to watch our son so we could go to the Er.
While showering, the amount of blood was awful. It wasn’t a normal flow. Blood was pouring out of me. It got all over the walls of the shower, the bathroom floors and soaked through two towels. We were not hopeful.
While at the hospital, they did an ultrasound, blood work, and pelvic exam. The babies heartbeat was good and everything checked out. I called my Ob and he mentioned subchorionic hematoma.
Has anyone ever heard of this excessive bleeding or experienced something like this? I’m not bleeding anymore and not having any pain.
