shyness help!!!!

so i’m getting to know this guy and we met up a few days ago for a movie date and after we walked around and talked but sometimes it was an awkward silence. my mind was blank and i didn’t know what to say, mostly because of my nervousness and also shyness. i hope i get help on how to not be shy anymore and get the guy to really like me!!😩
