I’d just like to see different points of view on this topic.

So I’m 18, and many people my age are in relationships and are allowed to sleep over at their significant other’s house. My family, on the other hand, thinks doing this is basically subjecting me to death. I see their reasoning as he’s a boy and all but honestly if it’s the sex they’re worried about and they know we already do it, how is that changing anything? My grandma said something i found quite interesting, she said “ your future husband would look down on you if you told him you stayed at a boys house when you were younger” (which honestly i think is just her being stuck in her ways).

What’s your opinion on this? Should someone my age be able to sleep over at their boyfriend/girlfriends house? I’ve personally been with my boyfriend for almost 2 and a half years and i see it as nothing more than just spending more time with him, pretty much like sleeping over at one of my friends house at this point. However, that’s pretty hard to convey to my family
