STI scare

I had unprotected sex 5 days ago, I was too drunk and dumb to make sure precautions were taken. I found out how promiscuous the guy was 2 days after, and since then I have been so itchy in the vaginal area. Is it too soon to be tested for anything? What symptoms should I be cautious of? Is it possible there’s nothing wrong and I’m just freaking myself out?
