What’s everyone’s experience with Acupunture and trying to get pregnant?

Just started Acupunture this month. I have a high stress job so I figured it wouldn’t hurt, even though we pretty much just started trying! Doing the herbs thing too, so I’m excited to see if/how it helps!! Def have been more relaxed the last two weeks, so I’m thankful for that at least!

I did acupuncture for fertility for two months and ended up stopping because I had exhausted my benefits. I ended up getting pregnant the second cycle after I stopped acupuncture. Not sure if it was the acupuncture or just a fluke. We had been trying for 4 months when I started acupuncture for the first time.

I’d read the real science behind it first

I went to an acupuncturist who specializes in fertility and I loved him and the immediate (same day) benefits were great but I got side effects from the acupuncture that only got worse the more I went. Like migraines and extreme fatigue and dizziness. Each time I went the side effects would be more intense and last longer. He said it wasn’t from the acupuncture but when I stopped it went away. I tried again a few months later and same thing. I’ve read that some people with adrenal fatigue do not respond well to acupuncture and should treat their adrenal fatigue first. Idk if I have adrenal fatigue but I wouldn’t be surprised. I’ve instead tried Reiki and so far I feel it is helping even though I’m somewhat skeptic about it.

Did it monthly for 7 months with no luck. Plan to do it on transfer day with ivf. I like it, its relaxing

I tried it and it just didn’t make me feel relaxed or comfortable. I went for 3 sessions and stopped. I’ve heard good things though!

I just started this cycle, i will find out this weekend if im pregnant or not but they said it takes about 3 cycles to get pregnant. Iv heard so many good things about it so i wanted to try it, im also on the chinese herbs & i do feel more relaxed

I had been trying for almost 2 years, and started acupuncture and was pregnant my third cycle. I continued thru my first trimester. It does help to regulate cycles, and less cramping and clotting too. We are trying again now, and have been doing acupuncture also, but it’s been 6 cycles so far. Hoping for a positive soon.
