Lost my plug?

Morning! 
I’ve just been to the toilet and when I wiped it was really gooey and sticky. I’ve attached a photo best I could get, but I was wondering if it could be my plug? I’m 38+3 and been experiencing some cramps and tightness and now this. Thanks x

I went into labor less than 24 hours after I started losing my plug, but I know it’s common for women to lose it and not go into labor for weeks still.

Quick update: I’ve wiped again and there is now small specks of blood too? I’m unsure what this is but don’t want to worry myself if it’s nothing

I’ve lost my plug at 35 weeks. I’m 36 weeks now. You could go into labour all depends on what your body does. Your cervix are opening and that’s why you are loosing your plug.
