3 or 4 wheel stroller?

I don’t know if this is just a matter of personal preference, but are there any actual clear pros to one over the other? 
We would like a travel system with infant car seat so recommendations are welcome. 
And I wanted one that would expand to two eventually but that seems to limit the strollers to 4 wheelers anyway, unless I’m mistaken.

We have a 4 wheeler (uppababy) for when we are home in the city, and a 3 wheeler (bob) at my parents house so we can go drive around in the fields and dirt roads. For me, 4 wheels is easier to maneuver, but I am also cruising on pavement with it rather than muddy fields and ruts. I think your best bet is to test drive both and see what makes the most sense for you  since it's such a personal preference 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have a 3 wheeler and it’s so easy to maneuver and get around. I love the all terrain tires as well.

I’m pregnant with my first and getting uppababy vista which is a 4 wheel sturdy easy to use stroller. I wanted something that could convert for 2 since I would like my second child close in age. I recommend going to buy buy baby and testing a bunch out! All of the ones that convert to 2 have 4 wheels for weight like others said. Some are way easier to use and maneuver than others. My husband didn’t like the way 3 wheelers felt but I didn’t mind them overall but it did vary per stroller.

Generally, I think three-wheel strollers are easier to maneuver, and that’s the plus side. Four-wheel strollers are better in holding more weight and better balance, so double strollers tend to have four wheels since they have more weight to hold. 
I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure that’s what I read when researching strollers a couple of years ago.

I'm going to order a graco pace travel system from Target. It isn't all terrain, but it's better than the regular four-wheel strollers for dirt roads and such, but still easy to maneuver around in stores and stuff. A friend of mine has one and absolutely loves it-

it folds up with one hand and it's super light!
