Hi, so I'm a socially awkward person, but I needed to tell my fwb (of over a year) how I truly feel about him. Which is a feeling that shouldn't be put with this sort of hook up-esque thing. His birthday was this past week so I got him a few things and wrote a cringey card of "23 reasons why you're kinda cool" and then the last one is telling him that I kinda love him maybe a little. I wanted to give it to him with the rest of his gifts, but I chickened out and left it on his desk before I left, letting him know he has something for when he wakes up.

Idk if hes read it yet or not, and when he does, how he's going to respond. Either way I do think it'll be beneficial because I have grown kind of very close to him, as we do hang out more than just to hook up. Like we hook up every time, but we hang out with his friends or roommates and watch a movie sometimes. And we've been kinda helping each other out emotionally. But if that is going to bother him, then I guess that means we have to put an end to it. I'm just kind of everywhere right now waiting on a response or something.

Anyone been in similar somewhat similar boat with their fwb? How'd it work out?
