What time do you start making dinner?

If I had dinner at a consistent time everyday I'd probably like it around 8

Depends on when I want to eat. Usually I'm already hungry when I get off work so if I'm cooking, I start basically as soon as I get home or chill a bit and then cook

Most nights dinner isn't done until 9 or 10. After 12 when my husband cooks

Lol I don’t make dinner. My SO either picks something up or orders delivery. If we’re eating a home cooked meal, it was made over the weekend

I aim to eat around 5, since that’s when my husband gets home from work and typically when my son wakes up. Usually try to do as much as possible ahead of time, though, because my daughter still cluster feeds, and I like having a few minutes to actually eat. It’s closer to 6 when my husband wants to grill or he’s found a new recipe to try.

I used to start around 7:00 but then I had a baby and in order to get everyone on a routine and get us all to bed earlier I started trying to have it ready by 6:00.  I usually start prep at 5:00 unless it’s something I know takes longer to make then I start earlier.

Dinner takes me about an hour to an hour and a half to make. Generally I get started so that dinners done at 8pm because that's generally a guaranteed time my husband will be home from work and I like routine. However, the last couple months he's been getting home earlier so I've been trying to get dinner to be done at around 7pm 
So I guess I start dinner anywhere from 5:30 to 7pm depending on when I want it done and how long it takes
