Which for a girl?

It’s a family name and honestly I don’t like many girl names and this would mean the world to my brother and father who both have Charles as a middle name, dad goes by Charlie. My Nana’s middle name is Mae so that’s a no brainer ❤️ Also keep in mind this baby will grow up hunting and fishing and living the redneck lifestyle 😍

I think either is fine but personally I prefer names that don’t seem like nicknames. I’d probably just go with Charlotte and call her Charlie/charley that way if she needs to do something professional she has the option to use the full name or not. But that’s my own personal hang up and I know a lot of people don’t care either way! A gender neutral “nickname” could still work in her favor though because patriarchy 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

My nana middle name is May too! I prefer that spelling though. Like someone said previously, I like Charlotte on the birth certificate but like call them Charlie for short. That way they have a choice in the matter x
