I guess it just depends on how you view/value your virginity. Personally, I think comfortability is most important. You could be comfortable with someone you’re not even close to. So I think if you’re ready and you’re comfortable that’s all that matters.

Also yes it would be better with someone close because you’re experiencing the thing for the first time with someone who you care about and trust and know more and feel safer with so you know they gotchu and care
