Was your period irregular after abortion?

Question

I specifically had a medical abortion (by pill) at 10 weeks a few months ago and since then I’ve had a light period, and then a slightly late but normal period, and now my period is 5 days past due. 
A test I took today was negative so I’m blaming it all on hormonal shifts, but how long is too long for my abortion to be throwing my hormones out of whack?? 
Anyone else have similar experiences??

Mine has been 7 months and I missed a whole period of April I was and been so stressed out because it’s been this long and I missed a period and I’m definitely not pregnant maybe my hormones are out of control but last month I was 8 days late this month is the longest so I’m not sure 😩

I when 4 months just spotting after my abortion, I had it at 6 weeks by the pill. I took so many pregnancy text. They all would be positive even after. But I was not having sex. So I couldn’t been pregnant. After 4 months of spotting here and there. My period finally when back to normal. I would just give it time.
